Students strengthen addition, subtraction, reading fluency, and written communication. They begin to use more strategies independently and make connections between classroom topics and their communities.
In Grade 2 Math, students explore Number and Algebra (Patterns); in Science, they study STEM Skills and Connections and Understanding Life Systems. English and Social Studies reinforce reading, writing, communication, and inquiry throughout the year.
